Oyin Adejobi was born in 1926 in Osogbo, present-day Osun State, Nigeria, into a prominent family. Historical accounts describe him as a member of the Osogbo royal family. His father was a successful farmer and later became a cocoa and produce merchant. His childhood was significantly affected by polio, which left him physically disabled. Despite this challenge, Adejobi pursued education and developed a strong passion for drama, music and storytelling. CAREER
